David Teegarden and the shop behind West George Street
T-n-T Furniture Refinishing is a local family-owned business, and it has been in business for more than 35 years. It is owned and operated by David Teegarden, who has over 30 years of experience with wood furniture.
The shop sits at 37 W George St, Westminster, MD 21157, around the back. It is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and closed Saturday and Sunday. Pickups and drop-offs are by appointment, so call first and David will set a time.

The shop’s rule
Their line is short: “If it’s wood we can handle it.” In practice that means residential and commercial furniture repair and restoration in any kind of wood. Pianos, chairs, tables, hutches, dressers and more come through the door, and the list David works from runs from stripping, staining and refinishing to painting, veneer, brass polishing, chair caning, chair repair, wood repair, replacing parts, scratches and cracks.

Every piece is different, so David quotes each job after he hears about it. Call or send a photo through the contact page, and David will talk it through.
